Sartre once said that freedom is what you do with what’s been done to you.
In this capitalist frame, squatting is our tool to freedom.
We have spent two years caring for the land, the microbes, trees, birds, bees, shrubs, grasses, herbs, insects, ourselves, the chickens and other living/non-living beings.
Our two year anniversary on this site, celebrates our common search for a sense of freedom.
